BRACH MODEL, kit 1:12, engine MOTOBI Zanzani 6 tiranti 250cc, 1966-74

This 1:12 scale kit is made of polyurethane resin for assembly, gluing, and painting.
It contains steel, metal, photo-etched parts, and decals.
The MOTOBI Zanzani Seitiranti 250cc engine achieved considerable success in the Italian 250cc Junior speed races from 1966 to 1969, including course records and class victories.
The kit accurately reproduces this powerful 250cc engine.
MOTOBI's racing motorcycles were managed by team manager Primo Zanzani and were a benchmark for fifteen years in the junior category.
From 1957 to 1972, MOTOBI won 27 Italian junior and mountain bike titles in the 125-175-250 classes, totaling approximately 1,600 official race victories.
All the motorcycles used the same single-cylinder "horizontal" engine with the characteristic "egg" crankcase; what changed was the capacity and profile of the camshafts, the secrets of which were jealously guarded by Primo Zanzani.
The chassis was developed from the standard, and the brakes, suspension, carburetors, and everything else were the best available at the time.
Several local riders, such as Paolo Campanelli, Guido Mancini, Paolo Baronciani, Luciano Battisti, Eugenio Lazzarini, Cristoforo Fattori, and Sandro Cinelli, rode Zanzani's MOTOBI; but so did riders of undisputed renown, such as Paolo Isnardi, Alberto Ieva, Amilcare Ballestrieri, Roberto Gallina, Fosco Giansanti, Genunzio Silvagni, and Silvano Bertarelli. This long list of riders could also have included Giacomo Agostini, who in 1962 ordered a MOTOBI from Primo Zanzani, but apparently the delivery was delayed, and Agostini turned to MOTO MORINI of Bologna.
