Riding a MINARELLI, in 1981, Ángel Nieto became the 125cc World Champion in a landslide. In 10 qualifying races, he won the first eight and finished second and fourth in the remaining two!
His dominance is no surprise to the superiority of the MINARELLI bikes. His teammate Loris Reggiani finished second in the championship. His bike from that year (1981) also features a BRACH MODEL kit.
