Paolo Pileri took third place in the 1976 world championship in the 125cc category with the MORBIDELLI MBA VR125, a bike that, as in 1975, dominated the class.
This marked MORBIDELLI's second world title.
The MORBIDELLI MBA team secured podiums in all nine races of the championship, with Pier Paolo Bianchi winning seven of them.
For the second year running, MORBIDELLI also won the constructors' championship, Pier Paolo Bianchi was crowned world champion and Paolo Pileri secured 3rd place in the world championship.
